Terms and Conditions

By using the services of Bluetide Pool Care, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Scope

Bluetide Pool Care provides professional pool maintenance, green pool recovery, equipment inspections, and related services. Specific services and pricing will be confirmed prior to commencement.

2. Appointment Scheduling & Access

Clients are responsible for providing safe and clear access to the pool and equipment at the scheduled time.

Any changes to the appointment must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.

4.1 Service Limitations

Bluetide Pool Care will make every effort to restore pools to optimal condition.

Some conditions, such as severe algae growth, equipment damage, or pre-existing chemical imbalances, may require additional time or cost.

4.2 Weather Conditions:
Certain services, including vacuuming, may not be possible during heavy rain or adverse weather conditions due to visibility and operational limitations. If weather conditions prevent completion of a Gold Service, the service may be downgraded to the highest achievable service level (for example, Silver Service), and charges will be adjusted accordingly based on the service provided on the day.

4.3 Service Time Allocation & Additional Charges

Each service includes a maximum allocated time as follows:

  • Bronze Service: up to 30 minutes

  • Silver Service: up to 35 minutes

  • Gold Service: up to 50 minutes

  • One-Off Service: up to 1 hour

  • Green Pool Recovery: up to 4 days (returning as required)

  • Pump / Chlorinator / Cartridge Filter Installation: up to 1 hour

  • Media Filter Installation: up to 3 hours

  • Cleaner Installation: up to 30 minutes

  • Stain Treatment: up to 4 days (returning as required)

If the allocated time is exceeded due to pool condition, pool size, additional work required, equipment issues, or client requests, extra time will be charged at $1.5 per minute increment.

5. Equipment & Safety Disclaimer

Any recommendations, repairs, or installations to pool equipment are carried out to professional standards.

Clients are responsible for following safety advice and maintaining equipment after service.

6. Consent for Use of Images

By booking a service with Bluetide Pool Care, you consent to us taking photos or videos of your pool or equipment for promotional purposes, including social media and our website. If you do not wish your pool to be featured, please notify us before the service.

7. Liability

Bluetide Pool Care is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing equipment faults, unsafe conditions, or improper pool maintenance by the client.

Liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

To help us serve all clients efficiently, cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee of $50.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the service provided.

9. Changes to Terms

Bluetide Pool Care may update these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
